It was a beautiful day and ceremony, Mark. I am full of gratitude for the peace that God gave us in the midst of our sadness and pain. It was good to be together with the family and to meet your son. He's amazing and precious! I'm sorry that you didn't live to see us all together, cooperating and being normal. But you should know that you are the reason we were able to be there. After the ceremony and gathering Gene & I went back to you to say some prayers and to say our final good byes. They had already buried you. I smoothed out the ground where you were because the workers left a bunch of footsteps on you. I also put some rocks around you until we can get your site together. This was so special. I'm glad we had the time together then. I assured you then that everything would be ok and that you should rest now. Your family will be ok and we love you. Louie got some glow in the dark rocks that Diana & the girls will put out for you when they arrive. I gotta say, Jill & Lou did an amazing job planning your day and I felt very proud of them.

Mother Mary, thank you for Jesus your son who makes salvation possible. Please Lord, bring us all to heaven. Amen.

About Mark

Mark  left a son, Mark Jr., just 2 months old when he died.

His 31 short years of life had joys with plenty of love, great experiences and memories as well as heartache, difficulties and pain. But Mark always pushed on, survived many obstacles, fell down, got up and in the end loved his family and especially his baby son.  We sure miss and love you, Mark.
